Learning outcomes: Knowledge characterizes light and climatic conditions in different types of interiors (flats, offices, hotels, commercial premises), classifies potted plant species into basic groups of plants (vines, plants with decorative leaves, solitairs, flowering plants - seasonal and perennial), lists the rules for their use and display, determines their requirements and basic principles of cultivation, determines the ways of house plant O1 – W03 O1 – W06 Skills use potted plants according to their requirements, selects the optimal way of exposure depending on the light and thermal growing place in accordance with the principles of composition, style interiors and current trends, cares for and multiplies potted plants. O1 – U07 Social competences recognizes the importance of ornamental plants on quality of life and responsibility for the aesthetics and the state of the environment, is responsible for their own and team work, can work in a group, understands the need for further training and professional skills development and social change.
